Thanksgiving in Spain was different but so much fun. We have some friends who we met through coach surfing (if you don't know what that is, sorry). They live in our town but work in the Naval Base in a nearby town. So, they are american and a lot older than us. Which means some of them have sweet homes. My roommates and I made broccolli salad, a normal salad, and brought some pumpkin pies from the american base. The house we went to is amazing. We went to a Halloween party there as well. It is basically a mini-palace. Hard to describe but I will show you pictures. Let's get to the dinner, it was amazing. There were 15 people at dinner and we all made amazing dishes. We even had homemade pumpkin, apple, and raspberry pie!! After we stuffed ourselves we made a bonfire in the backyard and ate s'mores and talked!! That's what is good about having amazing naval friends because they can get all the sweet things from home in their grocery store. All in all, a good night.
I think one of my favorite parts was having our spanish friend there, Manuel. In this picture he is on the left. It was so much fun for me just introducing Thanksgiving to someone else. He loved all the pies, but he was most surprised with the pumpkin! It was hilarious!

Ok, here is some of the house!
This is the center room. If you see that past the window there are steps leading to the roof, it's so pretty.
This is Caity, but look at the background!!
