Update on Warriorville

Well...our wins to loss doesn't really give us justice....at all, HA. We've played 3 away games so far and lost all matches. Good thing I don't hold on to my pride as a coach :). My team is great. They aren't the most talented but they have a will to learn. The majority are sophomores and have a ton of potential. As a coach you have to love when a player runs off the court saying, "Coach! I won 2 sets!" (huge smile on her face)..........coach (me): "You mean......2 games?"......"Oh yea, I get those mixed up". Hilarious! They definitely are having fun but I do wish for them to have a taste of success and a real understanding of the game of tennis.

It's hasn't been the easiest of seasons for me so far. The Lord is definitely pushing me out of my comfort zone which I am thankful and at the same time kicking and fighting. Coaching high school is a whole different ball game than 7th grade B vball....HA. High Schoolers sometimes aren't as fun, ha! I gotta love my middle schoolers that's for sure. I'm having a blast connecting with the team and seeing their personalities come out. It will be a season of constant surrender to God because there definitely is too much to be able to worry about and I really don't want to do that. So, prayer for an uplifting and growing season would be awesome!!!
