7th grade SLUMBER partizzle

So we had our first 7th grade slumber party. OH man, it was a hoot. It was a mix of pool, piano playing, hide and go seek, Indian dancing with our special guest, and hot chocolate with a little Twilight. The picture you see below has a little bit of a story. Binisha, the girl next to me, is the Indian exchange student. She was our surprise guest and I decided...wowza...what a great moment to learn how to dance Indian style. And...that is what we did!!! I'm pretty sure it was the funniest thing I have seen in a long time...whew. If you want to see a video, take a glance at facebook. We had 9 girls dancing with Binisha....and they were soooo into it. HILARIOUS! It was definitey the highlight of the night. Anywho, it was a fun night and I'm thinking maybe we'll be making it a monthly happening. Who knows??? yikes!!

The ladies being weird = amazingness!!

JJ Heller - Love Me (lyrics)

The song playing on my blogs playlist right now is by JJ Heller, and it's title is "Love Me". I had the privelege to sing this song in church the other day and I have fallen in love with this song. It has such a sweet story and you can't make it through the song without a tear. JJ Heller is singer/songwriter who actually plays at YoungLife camps during the summer...which is awesome. Anyway, listen to the song, it's amazing!!! Here are the lyrics.
He cries in the corner where nobody sees
He’s the kid with the story no one would believe
He prays every night, “Dear God won’t you please
Could you send someone here who will love me?”
Who will love me for me
Not for what I have done or what I will become
Who will love me for me
‘Cause nobody has shown me what love, what love really means
Her office is shrinking a little each day
She’s the woman whose husband has run away
She’ll go to the gym after working today
Maybe if she was thinner Then he would’ve stayed
And she says…
Who will love me for me?
Not for what I have done or what I will become
Who will love me for me?
‘Cause nobody has shown me what love, what love really means
He’s waiting to die as he sits all alone
He’s a man in a cell who regrets what he’s done
He utters a cry from the depths of his soul
“Oh Lord, forgive me, I want to go home”
Then he heard a voice somewhere deep inside
And it said “I know you’ve murdered and I know you’ve lied
I have watched you suffer all of your life
And now that you’ll listen, I’ll tell you that I...”
I will love you for you
Not for what you have done or what you will become
I will love you for you
I will give you the love The love that you never knew
