So this is just a mid-season recap. Well, we haven't won a match but we have had a ton of improvement. This showed in our last match. To get a win anywhere on my line-up is amazing!! So when we came out with a win at our #2 men's doubles this last week, was awesome!!! And, my #1 boys doubles lost in 3 sets and my #1 girls doubs fought hard. I have been trying to drill some basic fundamentals into their heads....and they are starting to get it!!! It gives me hope. I have an absolute blast seeing these kids every day. They are SO much fun and they have such awesome personalities. I have 4 seniors and the rest are sophomores and freshman....not one junior, weird huh? OH MAN...it doesn't get better than this picture. Dillon, a freshman, was sitting there like this and I saw him and said, "Dillon, you look like a lost little boy"...his response, "I am". :) Then I snuck my camera out and HAD to catch this on film...amazing!
These are currently my #1 doubles and they are maybe the funnest high schoolers I have met in my life. Chloe and Krista are a great team and are learning so much!!! I think Krista needs her own TV show...she's like the next Tina Fey.
