Bellingham...I LOVE IT!

A trip to Bellingham is going to be a thing that happens a lot this summer. Two girls that I met while on summer staff at Malibu last summer have become some of my closest friends. Aly, the one in the middle just graduated from Western and was the sailing instructor at Malibu. Kelsey, the one to the left graduates from Western this fall and was and is an intern at Malibu. They live together in Bellingham and are some of the sweetest girls I know. It's a precious thing when you find other girls that are like-minded and these two girls are that for me. I hope to visit them a ton. Our goal is to have communal living when we are older....haha...that would be a sight to see.

When we get together we tend to have a lot of fun taking the most random pictures together. And...it always takes place on this porch.
Yep...I meant random when I said it.

It was super fun because we weren't expecting to see them at all on our trip there but it worked out that Jon and I met up with them...and then they and their special man friends came over and we made it a happy triple date to the store. A joyous time indeed.

This was our annual YL carwash and my little/bigger than me 7th graders did some mean cleaning. Nice work ladies! I miss these ladies like a baby misses it's binky (ha...I just came up with that...soo good.) I'm stoked to take these ladies to Washington Family Ranch this summer. It's going to be the best week known to man. Here's some pics.

WARRIOR TENNIS = FINISHED

Our wins wouldn't prove how sweet a team I had but the fact that my team won the "Sportsmanship Award" for the whole league says a ton about them. They were some of the sweetest kids with the best attitudes. The season was not easy by any means but worth every bit of challenge that came my way. I learned more than you would ever know during this first season. I am excited for the next opportunity to coach and have a better understanding and knowledge of how to tackle it. Here are some pictures to highlight the season.Karissa is a sophomore and at the beginning of the season came running off the court saying, "COACH, I got two backhands in!!" (with a smile on her face). She ended the season playing #1 singles and probably considered one of the most consistent players. She lost at sub-district 3-6, 3-6.

This is at one of our team dinners. Every member of the team at one point or another were best friends. So, literally all of them would consider each other friends.
