Since the 'bu

It's been crazy and I feel like this is my first breather.....wow. I went from home to Spokane for a week to see friends I hadn't seen for the whole year. While there all my old roommates from junior year flew up (colorado) and drove over (seattle) to have a reunion at the Hartonav (Leah's in-laws) lake cabin. It was an amazing time. They are those friends that although you haven't seen them for a while, things just fall back into place. I love it. We are trying to make it an annual event. Here's some pics from that:
Lounging on the dock

We had some good competitive beach volleyball....oh yea, we played a lot of REALLY competitive nerts...it's a card game.
A little bit of hiking by the falls
After that, I had to drive literally from Spokane to Black Butte, Oregon to have our traditional family friends reunion. Here in my hometown we have been blessed to have a group of four families who have remained quite close over the years and they all have children around the same age. About 13 years ago we spent a week at Black Butte and this year we're bringing back tradition. We had a great time of tennis tournaments, golf tournaments, and bocce ball tournaments....you can't tell we might be a little competitive??? Oh, and my brosif, Troy, and his wife, Kari, came up which was so much fun. Here's some pics from that:
The whole gang...minus Troy and Kari and Tyson and Tracy....sad

I was stuck with the oldies for the Golf scramble....great job team!
We had a little photo session!
Straight after that, I went from home to Seattle for 4 days to host and show some spanish friends Seattle. Let me tell ya, hosting is not easy especially when you yourself are still trying to understand the workings of Seattle. It was interesting but a good time.

NOW, time to relax and apply for jobs, grrrrrr. It's about time.

Love your Black Butte pictures. I miss you T!! You are such a special friend. Excited for your adventure with MMS volleyball. Do they still have long sleeved jerseys like when we were there?
